Event Speculation.This event sucks.
I didn't want to believe it, because the event sounded really great actually. As it turns out, this event is...useless.
1. New faces:
All right new faces are ...well whatever really, an aesthetic change that doesn't help anybody, I do enjoy that they divided the faces up seperately for 50 GO each...but the "Masked warrior" face is almost racist lol, like an african american black face on some asian guy.
2. Tiger cubs:
Once again, aesthetic items that aren't really needed, you're essentially paying more money for a "bird" that looks slightly better...somewhat pointless.
3. 50% off timed GO point items:
This is a decent change, and personally I don't see why the "sale" shouldn't stay with lt/sz/rc items after the event, more people would readilly purchase them. On the other hand these timed items are useless because the star rate is bugged at the moment, and everybody is losing time on their tickets, I seriously hope that our current timed items be extended for the delay it takes to fix this star rate bug. Keep in mind that this star rate bug pretty much renders all timed items currently useless as nobody in the higher levels are able to level properly. [Star rate bug that jackpot tags can't even fix].
4. Firecrackers:
The only possible use I could see these items having are right before killing a boss at shot at some more drops / fame, since they only last 10 minutes, that's about it.
5. Red Envelopes:
I think this is the last part of the event...and probably the worst right now. As mentioned, these red envelopes are the cause of a bug which reduces star rate by a lot. This was done because red envelopes only drop from stars, however they are not a 100% gaurantee to drop from a star so I don't really understand why anyone would reduce the star rate on purpose, which leads me to believe this is a bug. Another thing to keep in mind is that lightning temple is connected to the V.V map, so star rates are essentially 0 there as well, which is even more pointless because you can't get drops in lightning temple anyways. Also, did I mention that the red envelopes aren't tradeable?

-Firecrackers are pretty much useless, and therefore have little selling value.
-Red envelopes cannot be sold to other players, and have an extremely low
droprate dependant on star rates.
-50% off timed items is pointless currently because nobody can decently level in lightning temple/ Red castle/ Mid castle [No stars].
-Tiger cubs are interesting but ultimately pointless other than to look good for more GO points than birds.
-Faces are an aesthetic and don't help gameplay at all, although now you can buy any one face you want for 50 GO points, which is nice as opposed to spending 150 GO points to get that zombie face and then have to try to sell a bunch of left over faces.
This event sounded good but ultimately fails at the moment.
